Blue Ivy Carter just posed with Lil Uzi Vert at this year's Super Bowl, which was a wild crossover to see. Of course, it's not the first time that the "Sauce It Up" star snapped some pictures with the Roc Nation family. Moreover, they appeared at the Roc Nation Brunch last week before the 65th Grammy Awards, rocking a slicked-back hairstyle. By the time they took the Grammys stage to perform "Just Wanna Rock," however, they returned to their spiky look. Still, it was wholesome to see Uzi hang with Hov and Blue, especially given their home city's team lost further into the night.

Still, even Jay got in for some pictures, a sight that many old-heads back in 2016 would've gagged at. Furthermore, it just goes to show the 27-year-old's incredible career trajectory and consistently upward trajectory. For example, it hasn't even been five months since "Just Wanna Rock" dropped and it's already hailed as a classic. DJ Drama recently said that it's the new anthem of Philadelphia, overtaking Meek Mill's iconic "Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)." However, the Eternal Atake MC hesitated to make any calls or disrespect Meek like that.

I don’t think so," they expressed humbly. "That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever. [Meek] that’s a big Homie from Philly, and that’s like one of my big homies. So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully, like s**t, hopefully. He [Meek] would hope that for me too. Not yet though it’s too early to tell.”

Moreover, the "Going Bad" rapper had thoughts of his own. “Intro been lighting the world for 10 years!” he claimed via Twitter. “Like shaking rooms for years!” Later, he suggested that the Eagles come out to Uzi, and play him if they win. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy's probably looking forward to more performances like her guest spot during Beyoncé's Dubai show. Whether she's got another show coming, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Uzi, Blue Ivy, and their entourage.

Gabriel Bras Nevares is a music and pop culture news writer for HotNewHipHop. He started in 2022 as a weekend writer and, since joining the team full-time, has developed a strong knowledge in hip-hop news and releases. Whether it’s regular coverage or occasional interviews and album reviews, he continues to search for the most relevant news for his audience and find the best new releases in the genre. What excites him the most is finding pop culture stories of interest, as well as a deeper passion for the art form of hip-hop and its contemporary output. Specifically, Gabriel enjoys the fringes of rap music: the experimental, boundary-pushing, and raw alternatives to the mainstream sound. As a proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he also stays up-to-date with the archipelago’s local scene and its biggest musical exponents in reggaetón, salsa, indie, and beyond. Before working at HotNewHipHop, Gabriel produced multiple short documentaries, artist interviews, venue spotlights, and audio podcasts on a variety of genres and musical figures. Hardcore punk and Go-go music defined much of his coverage during his time at the George Washington University in D.C. His favorite hip-hop artists working today are Tyler, The Creator, Boldy James, JPEGMAFIA, and Earl Sweatshirt.
