Polo G & Future will link up for the first time on "No Time Wasted."

Polo G’s follow-up to 2021’s Hall Of Fame could be coming soon. The rapper’s unveiled a handful of singles over the past few months but it seems like those intended to build up the anticipation for his major collab that’s on the way. This week, the rapper announced his upcoming single, “No Time Wasted” ft. Future and produced by Southside, due out on Feb. 17th.

Just a day before announcing the single, he shared a snippet online while asking fans to guess the feature. “this me and bro 1st time droppin one,” he wrote before confirming that he has a new album coming soon. “New single otw & album soon.” The teaser showcased Southside’s massive production style while Polo provided melody-filled motivational bars. “I know you waitin’/ Gettin’ fed up, you runnin’ out of patience/ Just keep yo head up, I told you we would make it,” Polo raps in the snippet. After revealing the feature, it’s hard not to hear Future’s influence on Polo G, especially when paired with Southside’s production.

Southside and Polo G have worked closely with one another since last summer, so “No Time Wasted” likely won’t be the last we hear from them. Prior to the release of “Distraction,” produced by Southside and Cubeatz, he revealed that the two were locked in during an interview with W Magazine. It seems that a release date could come after the single drops.

“Distraction” marked the first single from his upcoming album. However, Polo G hasn’t unveiled any details surrounding the project. He dished out a few singles throughout 2022 to warm fans up until his follow-up to Hall Of Fame. He unveiled “Bag Talk” in late October, then released “My All” in December.

The song’s release couldn’t come at a better time as Future is fresh off of a huge weekend at the Grammys. The Atlanta rapper scored his second Grammy of his career – and first as a main artist – for “WAIT FOR U” in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category. Future previously scored a Grammy for his contributions to Jay Rock’s “King’s Dead” alongside James Blake and Kendrick Lamar. Hopefully, “No Time Wasted” isn’t the last collaboration we hear from Future and Polo G. Check the snippet out below.
