Young Thug and London On Da Track's "Slime Season" has been puched back.

Last week, Young Thug made us all very excited when he announced a release date for Slime Season, his project with frequent collaborator, London On Da Track. Not only that, the tape was set to drop on July 4th, providing the soundtrack to our Independence Day celebrations.

Unfortunately, Thugger broke some bad news today, revealing that SS will not arrive tomorrow as promised. On the bright side, he did promise to leak a track from the project in its place, and honestly, that's good enough for us.

Thug closed his announcement with "Sorry 4 The Wait," a reference to Lil Wayne's mixtape series of the same name. While Thug and Wayne have had their issues in the past, we're going to assume this is a tribute rather than a dig at the rapper.

As far as when the mixtape will finally arrive, it's anyone's guess, but we're hoping it won't be left on the indefinite backburner along with Metro Thuggin.
