Blueface became a polarizing figure in the rap game over the past few months. From his quick rise in the game to his "off-beat" flow, he's faced a lot of criticism but that hasn't prevented his single, "Thotiana" from becoming one of the hottest tracks out right now. Although the original was already making serious waves, the remix with YG and Cardi B brought the single to a new height. The song ultimately became Blueface's first Billboard Hot 100 entry, climbing into the top 10 of the chart. However, it looks like he and his team are trying to keep the "Thotiana" wave going with a sequel to the song.
The producer to Blueface's "Thotiana," Scum Beatz, spoke to XXL about working with Blueface and revealed that they have a sequel to "Thotiana" on the way which is one of the few collaborations they've worked on recently.
"Me and [Blueface] haven't really sat down and cooked something up together besides the 'Thotiana Part 2' beat," he said. "It's gonna be the same beat, different drum pattern," he continued. "And I added a couple of other sounds."
Scum Beatz hasn't announced the release date to the song but he did assure that it would be coming soon.
"Thotiana" has sparked numerous remixes and freestyles since its release from some of the biggest names in the game including Nicki Minaj, Young M.A, Desiigner, Tyga, and Soulja Boy.
