A case of mistaken identities.

Aaron Paul, a Pop start from the UK, shot a music video for a collaboration this past Sunday. Word of the shoot spread in Pelham, New York, where the London-based artist was filming. Locals who are Dr. Dre fans were excited to welcome the producer to their hood but were met with some disappointment. Paul's collaborator wasn't actually the Aftermath entrepreneur, but rather another entertainer named Doctor Dre.

This other musical doctor is still involved in the rap game, however. Doctor Dre is the former host of Yo! MTV Raps a popular show that aired during the 80s. He is also a DJ. Paul, who was discovered by Simon Cowell, is not to be confused with the Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad. The duo bearing familiar names linked up at Glamsense Divas Beauty Bar, which the crew turned into a "glam Baptist church" set.

If Dr. Dre was involved, it could have taken years for the collaborators to get it together. Take Busta Rhymes, for example. The rap veteran is taking close to a decade to drop a studio album after his reunion with Aftermath. Dr. Dre even pulled Anderson .Paak back into the studio recently to add some sauce to his upcoming project set for release on November 16.
