Kid Cudi opens up about mental health in a preview of Facebook Watch’s "Red Table Talk."

In the upcoming episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk series, Kid Cudi served as the show's latest guest, opening up about mental health and offering advice to those who need to hear it.

"I was really good at keeping my troubles hidden… even from my friends," Cudi told Jada, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and Willow Smith. "I really was good with that. And it's scary because you hear people say, 'I had no clue.’" After some personal words from Willow, Cudi continued by saying he went out his way to keep his issues hidden, and he felt “ashamed” of them.

"I really went out of my way to keep what I was going through hidden because I was ashamed," he added.

Fans of Cudi know that the Cleveland rapper has been dealing with mental issues his whole life, even checking himself into rehab back in 2016. “I am not at peace,” he wrote then on FB. “My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it … Its time I fix me. I’m nervous but I’mma get through this."

Before the full episode airs this Monday on Facebook, fans can catch a preview of it (below). Check it out.
