It's hard not to sympathize with the soft-spoken Tinashe, even without background information on her split with Ben Simmons. The brash pro athlete several years her junior is currently living it up, he's in that phase of his life, and incidentally she knew that going in. That doesn't mean Tinashe can't live it up herself, life has just begun. Take notice:
Wednesday night, while her ex was in West Hollywood, Tinashe was in the same neighbourhood partying at Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard. An insider posted in the club witnessed the R&B singer chatting with Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell. When TMZ caught up with her outside for a brief exchange, she characterized their conversation as simply platonic. Tinashe then proceeded to Warwick, another club on her winding "rebound" tour. Mitchell left some time later in a vehicle of his own, nearly plowing through a few women standing close to the curb.
Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell have been embattled in a fierce rivalry over bragging rights to the NBA "Rookie of the Year" crown. A tertiary voting option has emerged in Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, but he'd gone about his business like a quiet storm. If Tinashe were to slide into Donovan Mitchell's DMs, or vice versa, it would serve as a telling revenge tale for the top Babyfaces in the feud.
