Lil Yachty's been on a roll over the past year and it doesn't look like he has any plans of stopping at any point in the near future. He's already revealed that he has a few collaborative projects on the way, although none of them have a solidified release date at this point. Earlier in the year, he released the follow up to 2017's Teenage Emotions and now, he's getting ready to drop another EP.

Lil Yachty announced that he has a new EP coming on August 23rd, the day of his 21st birthday. The rapper announced the project on social media. On Instagram, he posted a screenshot of a tweet that read, "On da real, gone drop a ep for my birthday 8/23, remember dat."

"50 thousand comments by 8/1 and ima do it fr..real slaps... tag a friend. Spread The Word.. 8/23 comment bitches!" Yachty captioned the post.

A few hours a go, Lil Pump also revealed that his highly anticipated mixtape Harvard Dropout was dropping on his birthday as well which happens to land a few days before Yachty's. Both Yachty and Lil Pump have previously announced that they had a joint mixtape in the works but we haven't really received an update on it recently. Hopefully, we see that project drop after the release of their solo efforts.
