These days, it's more common to hear about the beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B but the Queen rapper's past with Lil Kim fails to be scrubbed from our memories. Kim and Nicki had a heated battle a few years ago with the two clearly sharing a strong dislike for the other. Of course, that was years ago but it still gets brought up all the time as it's one of the most memorable feuds between female rappers in recent memory. While they likely did not intend on doing so, Safaree and Lil Kim angered a whole bunch of Nicki's fans when they linked up and posed for a few photos together.
During the time they were beefing, Nicki was dating Safaree Samuels. These days, Safaree is still trying to strive in the music industry but he gets the most attention when he's landing deals to create sex toys. The Barbs were fully behind their relationship when they were together but now, they constantly clown Safaree for his current situation. It was no different when he seemingly switched sides, posting up with Kim in a video posted to social media.
"Give respect when its due," wrote the entertainer on Instagram. Of course, Kim is one of the most talented female emcees of all time. She deserves her respect but after years of hearing Safaree defend Nicki against her, it's a little weird to see them together. Minaj's fans would be the first to agree.
