Madlib and Oh No are still a tried and tested brotherly act.

On the same day, Saba released a song with his brother/rapper Joseph Chilliams, Madlib and Oh No, largely regarded as the pre-eminent sibling act in hip-hop, have gone ahead and done the same. Their latest video single "Big Whips," directed and edited by David James, is slated for an All City Records' compilation titled Gangster Music Vol. 1.

When Gangster Music Vol. 1 is rendered complete, hip-hop fans the World over will be privy to a bevy of teasing options. Madlib and Oh Nomake up but one of the 27 enlisted songs on the project, the likes of which will include supplemental contributions from Kaytranada, Quelle Chris, Father, and a prison dispatch from the one and only Max B.

The "Big Whips"  video is a refreshing take on Gearhead Culture. Largely based around "found footage" like a permafied Big Boi bouncing in a ragtop or Birdman stunting in a stock Bentley Azure, "Big Whips" offers the retroactive in a new lens. The illustrator of the song's cover art spoke to Complex about the overarching concept of the project on a whole.

"'Big Whips' came into existence because of a friend of a friend who knows a guy. I sent an email asking if he thought Madlib might be down to submit something. I knew it was a crazy long shot and didn’t really expect to get an answerback," Marlon Sassy told Complex. "But to my surprise a couple days later, I got a reply saying Madlib was into it. He only had instrumentals available and the friend of a friend who knows a guy had the genius idea of getting Oh No on the track."

I used to park and leave it unlocked
'Cause don't nobody want the hooptie on the lot.
