Barack Obama is now an accomplished musician.

Here's a little bit of a surprise to brighten up your day. A few weeks ago, Barack Obama appeared on a remixed version of a track from Hamilton, reciting lines from George Washington's 1796 farewell address in "One Last Time." The appearance was pretty unexpected given the fact that Obama has remained relatively low-key since passing the torch to Donald Trump. His feature on the song comes as Christopher Jackson and BeBe Winans sing their hearts out and now, the three of them have achieved quite the accomplishment on their remix.

In addition to being the former President of the United States and our forever President, Obama is now an accomplished musician as he's made his official debut on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart. The Hamilton cut appeared at No. 22 this week, landing in front of efforts by John Legend and Ella Mai. Don't get too excited though - Ella Mai remains at the front of the line with "Trip."

The "One Last Time" remix is the latest addition to Lin-Manuel Miranda's "#Hamildrop" series, in which he has been re-releasing songs from the popular musical to raise money for charity. Have a listen to Barack Obama's Billboard debut below and let us know what you think!
