SZA still doesn't get her own hype.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards aired last night and the event gave us some special moments. Post Malone and the Yodelling Kid snapped a selfie, Janet Jackson received a Billboard icon award, Salt-N-Pepa showed us love with a performance and more. Of the long list of winners from the whole night, one special lady was somehow shocked that she became the Top Female R&B Artist of the year.

Although SZA was not present at the show, she won the award beating her competitors Beyonce and Rihanna. "When I tell u I was REALLY positive I wasn’t gonna win this one 😂😰... like WDFKTKTD!!!’ 😩 I reaaaalllyyyy wish i was dere 😫!! We played #hangoutfest today! Ridin to Tampa FL rn !! Thank you SO much @billboard for this INSANE FUCKING HONORRR. To even place me next to LEGENDS IS BEYOND A THOUGHT LET ALONE ANYTHING FURTHER," she captioned her Instagram photo.

Back in February, SZA said she was "confused" by the success of her Ctrl album. “I didn’t even fuck with my own album, so I was so confused and almost, like, angry that everyone fucked with it so much,” she said. “It meant everything I felt about myself was wrong. And it was just like, If that’s not the truth, then what is the truth?

Sis, it's time to realize that you make dope music and you're going to be winning more awards. Peep her full Insta post below.
