Cardi B has made the news a lot today, much like other days for projects that she has undertaken and gossip surrounding her much-rumored possible pregnancy. While both her and Offset have shut down the baby talk, Cardi looks to capitalize on the attention being awarded her way by reminding everyone that she has music on the way. A debut album, to be specific. Cardi garnered the spotlight almost solely through the success of her "Bodak Yellow" single, which is fairly certain to make the cut for the album. The rapper also dropped single "Bartier Cardi" with 21 Savage, which may also appear on the project.
The Bronx songstress updated her Instagram story, emphasizing that her debut album is still very much on the way, writing to her supporters, "Be patient i [sic] will drop my album soon." Some artists are infamous for saying they will be releasing a project "soon," when the word could mean this week, this month or this year. "Soon" can be a variety of things and while the choice of words does not specifically guarantee a release date, Cardi is promising that the drop is imminent.

This may be a tactic to get people talking about her music, rather than any gossip that is speculated about her. While we cannot be sure when the album is coming, we're going to take Cardi's word for it and hope that it's sooner rather than later.
