Royce da 5'9'' visits Build Series at Build Studio on May 1, 2018 in New York City.

Get ready for more heat from Royce.

Royce must be feeling generous following the release of his sick new album, Book of Ryan. The album, which he claims is his "most important" to date, showcases a breadth of lyrical finesse, story telling, and some awesome guest appearances from rappers such as Eminem, Pusha T, Jadakiss, and more. Not satisfied with giving us 20 tracks of fire, Royce has decided to hopefully hit us with another track that unfortunately couldn't make the final cut of the album.

Royce went on Twitter to let his fans know, writing, "Cut Throat is a song me and @ScHoolboyQ did for the album at the very last minute but couldn’t get it cleared in time. I’m gon get on the phone with my brother, we’re gonna figure out a cool way to release it. 🙏🏽 Thank y’all #BookOfRyan."

If Royce can turn a song called "Caterpillar" into a certified banger, than expectations are very high for "Cut Throat." Royce obviously likes the track enough to try and release the song even after the album comes out, so there's that too. If you're a Royce or a Schoolboy fan, now is a great time to get excited for more music.

The curse of sample clearance can be death for a lot of albums' release dates, and unfortunately Royce isn't immune to that either. Hopefully he and ScHoolboy can work together to drop the track and feed the streets once again.
