In June, it was reported that Quando Rondo had left FCI Edgefield in South Carolina, and was staying in a halfway house in Atlanta.

After pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute marijuana in 2024, Quando Rondo was hit with a 33-month prison sentence and three years of supervised release. As of this week, Rondo is no longer in federal custody, and his supervised release has officially begun.

Previously, Quando Rondo served his sentence at FCI Edgefield in South Carolina. However, in June, it was reported that Rondo was no longer in prison. Instead, he was staying at a halfway house in Atlanta. This community confinement lasted upwards of five months. On November 2, he was released and is now no longer under the custody of the Bureau of Prisons. This doesn't mean he is in the clear. Supervised release means he will be watched closely over the next 36 months.

Immediately after being released, Quando Rondo went to go see his barber, Kwame Bryant. Bryant posted some photos of the artist on social media, saying, “I’m glad u finally off paper and out of Federal Custody fam."

Bryant went on to say that he and Rondo got to listen to some unreleased music together. Needless to say, it was a joyous occasion for the artist, and he is already reconnecting with those he has camaraderie with.

Quando Rondo is an artist who has always kept busy over the years. Given the fact that he is showing off unreleased music, it seems clear that he is going to be dropping something soon. "First Day Out" songs always seem to be a fan favorite, and we would not be surprised to see one.

Regardless, this is a celebratory time for Quando Rondo, and we will surely be seeing more of him soon.
