Although Jay-Z doesn't have a song with Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland's comments followed their VIP reunion at Hov's Los Angeles show.

The 2027 Super Bowl halftime show will be headlined by none other than Jay-Z, who's been picking the halftime slots for the past several years thanks to Roc Nation and its deal with the NFL. As such, many folks are speculating about potential guest performances, including from his wife Beyoncé. However, a more interesting rumor also took shape in the wake of this announcement. It concerns a Destiny's Child reunion, and Kelly Rowland has now addressed it.

In an interview with PEOPLE at a recent event, she reacted with glee to Hov's halftime slot. When the interviewer asked Rowland about a potential reunion with Bey and Michelle Williams on the Super Bowl stage, though, Rowland kept quiet.

"That's none of my business," she remarked. "That's his performance."

This led to a lot of reactions online. Some rightfully lamented how interviews with Kelly tend to skew towards other artists. But other expressed more confusion about these rumors, as Jay doesn't have a song with the group.

That being said, Destiny's Child's VIP reunion at Jay-Z's Los Angeles concert last week may be the spark that is causing this fire. They danced together at a suite at the show, and while they didn't perform, fans loved to see the reunion. It also left them begging for a proper return.

Maybe Beyoncé will be the one to have the final say on this matter, if it isn't her husband. Regardless, Kelly Rowland isn't interested in spoiling the fun, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Jay-Z Super Bowl Rumors

Other Jay-Z Super Bowl halftime show rumors include a truly bewildering hypothetical. Some fans think Hov might bring out Kanye West at the show, which is a very ambitious and improbable prediction for a few reasons.

First, Ye's controversies continue to follow him, and we doubt the NFL would want to attach themselves to him even if he's apologized for his antisemitism. Plus, him and Jay aren't exactly on good terms. It's one of the wilder predictions and hopes people have for the show.

As for one of Destiny's Child's anchors, Kelly Rowland is still putting in work, recently starring alongside Method Man in the romantic comedy Relationship Goals. If she really will hit the Super Bowl stage with her colleagues, we're sure she'll put on a great show.
