Michael Rubin has joined JAY-Z and J. Cole in writing a character letter for Lil Durk ahead of his bond hearing next week.

Lil Durk is preparing for a bond hearing on November 4, and his bail package is extensive, to say the least. He is currently offering up a large sum of money to secure his freedom ahead of his VICAR trial. In fact, he is putting his music royalties up for grabs.

Furthermore, Durk received a plethora of character letters from prominent figures. As we reported today and last night, JAY-Z and J. Cole are among those who have vouched for the artist.

Michael Rubin also delivered a character letter, and as you will read, it's powerful. Rubin speaks on Durk's work in the community and his involvement in the REFORM Alliance.

"I first met Durk through my work with the REFORM Alliance, an organization dedicated to transforming the probation and parole system and creating opportunities for people who deserve a second chance. Through our interactions, I have come to know a man who places tremendous importance on his family and his ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others," Rubin wrote.

Michael Rubin Goes to Bat For Durk

"When we launched the REFORM Alliance, Durk was among the artists who stepped forward to support our mission," Rubin continued. "He performed at our inaugural event, which raised more than $20 million to help people less fortunate than him be able to return to their families and rehabilitate their lives through an organization that is rethinking antiquated probation restrictions. His willingness to lend his voice and platform to an issue affecting so many individuals and families demonstrated an understanding that success carries with it a responsibility to help create opportunities for others."

Next week, Durk will learn whether or not these character letters were enough to get him released from jail until his trial in August of next year. If not, then he will remain behind bars as he awaits his final trial.
