Loe Shimmy was also in attendance and previewed some new music alongside Travis Scott and Future.

If they weren’t at the SoFi Stadium over the weekend, then you could bet that some of your favorite artists were helping Drizzy Drake ring in his 40th Birthday in New York City. The rapper’s birthday festivities brought the OVO gang from Toronto’s CN Tower to cushy Italian restaurants before the big celebration this past Saturday. Of course, this also meant that it was a star-studded affair beyond cameos from The Backstreet Boys and Bow Wow.

Travis Scott and Future, specifically, showed face at the suited affair–a surprising turn of events considering the tension that brewed between Drake and every other rapper just two years ago. A video surfaced of Scott and Future from the party, hanging with Loe Shimmy, as they vibed out to some unreleased music. Cash Cobain was also in attendance.

It shouldn’t be all that surprising that the two rappers showed face at the party. Drake and Future have evidently squashed whatever tension existed between them since “Like That” dropped. Meanwhile, Travis Scott has somehow kept out of the smoke that saw his collaborators from both sides of the aisle fire at each other.

Outside of debuting new music, Loe Shimmy also came through with a major present for The Boy to help him enter his 40s, likely as a thank you for his long-standing support. Shimmy gifted Drake a brand new Ferrari–a thoughtful gift following their collaboration on Habibti.

Clearly, everyone that mattered to Drake pulled through to celebrate such a major milestone. As far as music-related news, Drizzy’s also rumored to be headlining Coachella next year, so it looks like he has much more to look forward to.
