Kevin Gates will have to give Dreka a significant portion of the proceeds from his music catalogue sales.

Most people thought that Kevin Gates and Dreka would be together forever but over the years, we’ve seen the two separate and pursue separate relationships. Of course, Gates made plenty of headlines in recent times after getting married to Brittany Renner in 2025, though that relationship was incredibly short-lived.

However, it appears that Kevin Gates is still dealing with his separation from Dreka Gates in court. According to TMZ, a judge ordered him to fork over a cut of the proceeds from his music sales to Dreka Gates. Bread Winner Alumni's CFO Robert Bracy will run the Morgan Stanley account into which all the money needs to be deposited, while William Duerksen, a public accountant, has authorization for the account.

Dreka will get a huge chunk of money from this, $929,341.50, to be exact, for child support and spousal support. Additionally, she’s to receive another $150K. For attorney fees, her lawyers will get $125K, while her accountant receives $100K, and another $103K will be provided to a third-party mediation service.

Meanwhile, Kevin will receive $538,798 upfront and $225,000 each month, beginning in October.

Kevin Gates & Dreka Separation

The former couple has been at odds over the past few years, and the fallout has spilled into the public eye. Kevin once alleged that Dreka stole money from him during their marriage, though her attorney referred to the claims as "completely false and fabricated." She also accused Kevin of failing to support her and their children financially since 2021. Dreka asked for $70K in child support per month around that time.
