Tory Lanez's "Not A 'Tor', Tour" proved to be a massive success in New York City.

Tory Lanez isn’t allowing his prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion to prevent him from giving his fans an experience. The Brampton rapper launched the “Not On ‘Tor,’ Tour” in New York City on September 25th, followed by events in Los Angeles, DC, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh. Obviously, he can’t physically attend these concerts, but the “tour” served as a listening party in support of his recent album, and the New York City show proved that demand was high.

As a result, they will have to upgrade the venues to accommodate the demand.

“NY was INSANEEE … We now have to upgrade all cities to bigger venues. LA just upgraded to a larger venue , & put new tickets on sale in the bio,” a post on Tory Lanez’s Instagram page reads. “For Pittsburgh and New Orleans, tickets are being refunded until new dates and bigger venues are secured.”

The tour has consisted of listening parties, DJ sets, and guest appearances. In New York, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Bobby Shmurda, N3on, A$AP Ferg, and Pressa were all in attendance. With his upcoming events in Los Angeles, DC, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh, he’s bound to have several more guests pop up on stage.

Tory Lanez Faces Backlash Over "Tour"

However, this series of events hasn’t gone down without backlash. Many fans have expressed their condemnation of these live events due to the nature of Tory Lanez's conviction. It ultimately became a topic of debate on a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, where co-hosts Marc Lamont Hill and Mona said that they couldn't support the initiative because of the case. However, QueenzFlip argued otherwise, stating that Tory is innocent and pointing to specific evidence that he believes points to the Canadian rapper's innocence.

The "Not On 'Tor,' Tour" continues in Los Angeles on October 15th at Catch One. From there, it will head to Washington, DC's Culture on October 22nd.
