Tory Lanez is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, but now, he is set to host a "Not on Tor, Tour."

Tory Lanez is currently in prison as he serves a decade-long sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot during a dispute in the Summer of 2020. While Lanez has attempted to appeal his case, he has been denied on numerous occasions.

Now, it appears as though he is looking to go on tour. Of course, it's not a tour he'll be physically present for. Given his current predicament, that would be impossible. Instead, he is going on what is called the "Not On Tor, Tour."

Essentially, the artist will be offering "listening experiences" in various cities throughout the Fall season. Select cities have already been announced, while Montreal and Toronto are waiting on dates of their own.

Tory Lanez Announces Tour

Not On Tor, Tour Dates:

  • New York — Sept. 25
  • Los Angeles — Oct. 15
  • Washington, D.C. — Oct. 22
  • New Orleans — Nov. 12
  • Pittsburgh — Nov. 13

At this time, it is unclear what the listening experience is going to be about. There are numerous possibilities for how this will all go down. Is there just going to be a DJ playing old Tory Lanez songs? Is new music going to be previewed? Will Tory make an appearance over a Zoom call? These are the questions we can't help but ask amidst this announcement.

Despite his time in prison, there are still fans who are dedicated to the Tory Lanez cause. This has allowed him to release "Lost Tapes" while incarcerated.

Whether or not this new endeavor is a success remains to be seen. It appears to be an attempt at doing something revolutionary in the world of touring. However, it seems like it is nothing more than a glorified listening party.
