It’s been a busy year for A$AP Rocky, from releasing his new album, Don’t Be Dumb, to an international tour. However, he’s also revealed some of his philanthropic efforts and desires to dive into politics. The latter could be all talk, though it’s clear that he is committed to using his platform and resources to help others.
The latest effort surrounds Roc Nation School of Music, Sports, & Entertainment at Long Island University. The rapper announced a full four-year scholarship fund for a student to attend the school. This scholarship gives an incoming freshman the opportunity to earn a four-year degree at the Roc Nation School, while benefiting from an educational experience that blends classroom instruction with hands-on exposure and career-building opportunities throughout the entertainment industry.
“I'm a big believer in creating your own lane and giving people the opportunity to do the same,” said A$AP Rocky. “There are so many talented young people with ideas, ambition and something important to say. This scholarship is about helping one of them turn that vision into something real.”

The scholarship includes full tuition, one-on-one mentorship from top industry professionals, automatic enrollment into Roc Nation’s extensive academic and mentorship program, and hands-on experience in a Pro Dolby Atmos Studio.
Applications are currently open until December 15th, 2026. Eligible candidates must be working toward enrollment for the Fall 2027 semester as a first-time freshman.
Rocky’s new scholarship fund extends the number of celebrities and entertainment figures who’ve similarly created scholarships for students over the years. Megan Thee Stallion, DJ Khaled, and DJ Guru have similarly created funds to assist the next generation of talent in receiving hands-on experience and academic learning.
