Diddy's legal team is reportedly questioning how people are obtaining and disseminating information from inside the prison facility.

Diddy recently caught a lot of heat for his alleged perks behind bars. This could result in yet another delay of his prison release date. According to Deadline, the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) still hasn't ruled on various alleged jail violations Puff committed at FCI Fort Dix. These include alcohol smuggling, the use of banned cellphones, and paying for a cleaning staff.

Per alleged sources in the publication's report, authorities at the New Jersey prison stated the Bad Boy mogul will face "serious consequences" for these alleged violations. Diddy is now under solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix, and it's unclear for how long this will be.

As for the prison release date, his participation in a drug treatment program led to various expeditions of the date. But other instances have also led to other delays. So this back-and-forth process likely isn't over even if this alleged violations situation clears up.

When Is Diddy Getting Out Of Prison?

"Like all correctional agencies, contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a constant challenge. We continue to tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities," the BOP reportedly told Deadline. The bureau reportedly did not offer specific comments about Sean Combs himself.

"Inmates are not permitted to have access to cell phones. All incarcerated individuals in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) who are found to violate the ‘Inmate Discipline Program’ policy are subject to sanctions," they added.

In addition, Combs' crisis communication representative told Deadline this situation raises questions about who is obtaining information behind bars, and how. "There is something odd about all of this," he reportedly stated. "Someone was apparently able to record Sean inside the prison, and numerous stories continue to emerge from inside the facility in real time. Yet the focus inevitably lands on the celebrity because he is the person everyone recognizes. There are legitimate questions about how recordings and information are making their way out of a federal prison in the first place. Focusing almost exclusively on the famous inmate may make the easiest headline. But it overlooks the broader question of how this material is being obtained and circulated."

Diddy's current prison release date is scheduled for January 21, 2028.
