Claims from former inmates describe Diddy paying for help with daily chores while allegedly enjoying extra comforts behind bars.

Federal prison apparently has not stopped money from buying Diddy a few comforts. Four men who spent time in his unit at FCI Fort Dix claim the music mogul has paid fellow inmates to handle everyday chores while serving his 50-month sentence, creating what one former prisoner described as a lifestyle unlike anything normally seen behind bars. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the arrangement allegedly includes inmates cooking for him, cleaning his space, and doing his laundry. He has also reportedly paid for Chinese-style massages.

The claims originated in an NBC News investigation based on accounts from four men who were housed in the same unit. They alleged that people outside the prison deposited thousands of dollars into other inmates’ commissary accounts in exchange for work done for Diddy. One source characterized the setup as something only a wealthy inmate could pull off, describing it as far removed from normal prison life.

Food was reportedly another area where Diddy found ways around the usual experience. Former inmates claimed other prisoners prepared meals specifically for him, including curry chicken and pizza. The report also alleges he obtained contraband alcohol, including Hennessy, along with access to a cellphone that federal prisoners are prohibited from possessing.

The accounts also describe a jailbroken tablet that allegedly gave Diddy access to content outside the restrictions normally placed on prison devices. According to the reporting, he used it to browse Instagram and watch entertainment, including the Netflix docuseries about his legal troubles that was executive produced by 50 Cent. Former inmates additionally claimed he received sexually explicit images through social media.

FCI Fort Dix has not confirmed the allegations. A Bureau of Prisons representative told the Los Angeles Times that officials do not discuss the conditions of confinement for individual inmates or confirm investigations involving them. The representative acknowledged that contraband cellphones and other prohibited items remain an ongoing problem across federal facilities.

Diddy’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, pushed back on the attention surrounding the claims. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal,” he said. Yet, the scrutiny has already been followed by another change in Diddy’s living situation. TMZ reported that he was returned to the Special Housing Unit while officials investigate the allegations regarding his Fort Dix stay. It marks his second stint in solitary confinement after a July altercation with another inmate.
