Last night, it was reported that Diddy was living a lavish life in prison. NBC broke the story, claiming that the mogul was spending thousands of dollars so that he could have access to prison luxuries.
This included things like massages, meals, Hennessy, and even a phone. A spokesperson for Diddy was quick to call the reporting out as completely frivolous, and that it shouldn't actually matter.
“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” Diddy's spokesperson said. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
Perhaps the most stunning revelation from the NBC report is that Diddy has a phone with nudes on it. These nudes were allegedly sent to him by a former girlfriend.
Diddy's Prison Life Explained
The prison has been made aware of this, although a spokesperson said that it is not something they are able to get a full grip on. As it turns out, contraband is a serious problem amongst more than just Diddy.
“Like all correctional agencies, contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a constant challenge, and we continue to tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities,” a prison spokesperson said.
As you can imagine, this is a story that has elicited some strong reactions over on social media. Many fans portrayed their amusement, while others were simply skeptical about the timing of all of this.
