With Adin Ross preparing for the latest installment of the Brand Risk boxing event, he wanted to ensure that he had some of the most viral names attached. One of those was Top5. The Canadian rapper, who is largely known for his association with Drake, reportedly agreed to fight Bob Menery for the next Brand Risk event. Unfortunately for Adin Ross, it may have been one big finesse.
During a conversation with Akademiks, Ross revealed that Top5 ghosted him after getting paid for Brand Risk.
“Top5 ghosted me. I’m a little bit hurt,” he admitted. “I sent him a little bit of money upfront. Didn’t get a text back, answer back. He’s not going to send that money back. He’s completely ghost.”
Adin revealed that Top5 didn’t even post the event on his page and hasn’t responded to anyone on his team. Akademiks then pointed out that Top5 isn’t even allowed to enter the United States, which made the idea of booking him to fight at this event a bit baffling.
“I was being told don’t do it. I was like, ‘Bro, Top5, he says Wallahi, on God, he’s my brother, my favorite Jew. He’s not going to do it.’ But yeah, he completely deaded that,” Adin admitted. He also said that this Brand Risk event was initially supposed to be in Toronto while hinting that the next one will be “out of the country.”
Drake Trolls Adin Ross
During Drake’s livestream last night, he took a slight jab at Adin Ross and told him that he needs to worry about confirming the fights.
It’s unclear what Adin Ross plans to do with Top5 evidently not being able to compete in the upcoming Brand Risk event. However, he did mention that he didn’t send a lot of money to Top5 to begin with, so he doesn’t appear to be concerned about the minor financial loss.
