Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks have been embroiled in a heated beef for over 10 years, and they are showing no signs of ever getting on the same page. Overall, the feud is back in the mainstream thanks to Meek's comments about Ak's Lil Durk coverage.
He believes Akademiks is responsible for young artists getting killed and locked up. Meanwhile, Ak believes Meek is simply virtue signalling and is simply saying these things because of their past issues.
Over the past week, threats have been uttered on both sides. Ak showed his weapons arsenal, while Meek sought out an address. Now, it appears as though Meek has opted to focus on bigger and better things. As Akademiks revealed on X, Meek has blocked him on Instagram and has also allegedly deleted his messages to the commentator.
"Damn yall.. meek mill blocked me off instagram and deleted all the messages of him threating me .. he left the other ones tho lol. Lmao. The 120 days window countdown is on . My boy covering his tracks I respect it," Akademiks wrote.

It is easy to see why Meek Mill would choose to do this. At the end of the day, the beef was not particularly productive, and it was getting to a bit of a dark place.
Ak and Meek's history dates back to 2015, around the time of the Meek and Drake battle. In the aftermath, Meek told Akademiks that he no longer wanted to be posted on his page. Akademiks obliged, but the two still haven't seen eye-to-eye, and Durk's trial is yet another example of that.
Meek has yet to give a response to his decision to block Akademiks.
