The two have found a rhythm that works.

Yeat and Drake are back together on “MISS MY DAWG” one of the biggest surprises from Yeat’s new COCOON EP. The song marks their fourth official collaboration following “IDGAF,” “As We Speak,” and 2025’s “DOG HOUSE.” Fans actually got an early listen when Drake premiered the record in his FOMO short film earlier this week, just days before it landed on streaming. Despite its title, “MISS MY DAWG” isn’t entirely a somber record. Drake handles the chorus with a more reflective approach, touching on death, memories, and eventually having to say goodbye to people close to you. Yeat brings a much different energy to his verse, bouncing between women, money, drugs, and his usual flex-heavy bars before repeatedly returning to the idea of missing his people.

That contrast actually works in the song’s favor. Drake gives the record its emotional center, while Yeat keeps it from becoming too heavy. Four collaborations in, the two have clearly found a formula that allows their very different styles to meet somewhere in the middle.

Quotable Lyrics

You're gonna cry when I'm gonna die
'Cause I went and made something of my life
One day, you'll decide those tears had to dry
'Cause times that we had, they'll always survive
Light in the sky if you miss your dog
