During these conversations, Joy made the claim that she loves being spoiled by men. Whether that be with designer bags, clothes, cars, or even homes. DJ Akademiks put this to the test by taking her on a date that cost him upwards of $80K, with the private jet included.
One person who doesn't seem to appreciate this transparency is Brittany Renner. In numerous videos on social media, Renner addressed Joy, claiming that she acts like a damsel in distress. She believes this kind of life is pathetic in a way, and that Joy should strive for more.
This subsequently led to a response from Diddy's ex, who had some strong words directed in Renner's direction.

For the most part, Joy attempted to take the high road. She said she loves being spoiled, and she loves to spoil her partners back. She then said that she understands if that kind of dynamic isn't for Renner. Ultimately, it's not for everyone.
However, Joy failed at keeping things all the way cordial, as by the end of it, she was issuing a warning to Renner. She simply stated that the next time Renner speaks on her, she should make sure she doesn't look like she's just fought a bunch of dogs.
