Bebe Rexha was the most recent guest on Angie Martinez's IRL podcast, where she discussed her artistic path and some spicy stories about fellow celebrities. At one point, Martinez asked her what type of guys she's sliding in the DMs of, which led her to reveal she had an unsuccessful "shoot your shot" moment with Drake.
As caught by ZADCOZZY on Twitter, the singer said this was after Drake's "20v1" speed dating event. For those unaware, he ended up giving gifts to his favorite contestants, and Rexha wanted to make her case.
"I was like, 'I am your dream girl,'" she expressed. "'I'm Albanian. I got a fat a**. I got my own thing going on for me.' And I don't even think he saw it. Or he saw it and just ignored it... Maybe you could be like, 'Hey, I want to set you up with my friend.' Because to me, if he goes, 'Nah, I'm good on her,' I'd be like, 'Okay, he's good on me.'"
"Anybody who's dated Rihanna, you can never go up from there..." Bebe continued. "I think I bumped into him at an awards show one time. But he was with his crew, and there was some drama going on at the time. I was like, 'Hey, daddy.' And he gave me the dirtiest look. His security came to me and was like, 'Do not call him that.' [...] At the Grammys, I was nominated that year for Best New Artist."

The artist clarified the DM didn't say "read" and that he doesn't follow her. Angie Martinez joked that she could write a song about this and even collaborate with Drizzy, potentially sparking studio chemistry.
Also, Bebe Rexha spoke about Drake watching Rihanna have a family with his enemy, A$AP Rocky. She didn't say anything about the beef dynamics, but it was still a curious moment.
Elsewhere, there are other Drake celebrity crossovers that have popped up as of late. For example, Keke Palmer recently reflected on interviewing him at the Degrassi set in 2005. Maybe one day, the 6ix God will reveal if he really ghosted Bebe or just didn't notice.
