Drake First Artist 140 Billion Spotify Streams

Drake already dropped three albums that have performed amazingly on Spotify in 2026, and he might have another on the way.

It feels like Drake is breaking streaming records and dominating commercial metrics every week, and that's as due to his older material as it is to his newest releases. He's been the most streamed artist on Spotify for a while now, and he just hit a wild milestone on this path.

According to Kworb data, Drizzy became the first artists in the streaming platform's history to surpass 140 billion streams on the digital service. Right behind him is Taylor Swift with 130 billion followed by Bad Bunny with 128 billion, The Weeknd with 97 billion, and Justin Bieber with 80 billion.

The 6ix God is reportedly receiving around 57 million daily streams on Spotify at press time, which also puts him at the top of that category. What's more is that, according to Bars on Instagram, his new album ICEMAN is now eligible for two-time Platinum status from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States. This indicates it sold over 2 million units. It's one of three projects from The Boy in 2026, joined by HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR.

Is Drake Dropping A New Album?

Drake might have more new music on the way, as fans continue to read deeply into his "FOMO" teases. He uploaded a picture on social media of a CD case that read "FEAR OF MISSING OUT," which some fans believe is an album that's about to drop soon.

Others believe this could refer to other endeavors. Maybe we will get more music videos for the ICEMAN trilogy, or this is actually the name of the Toronto superstar's upcoming tour. Other interpretations pose this could be a documentary or film project of some sort. In all cases and others, we will just have to wait and see what this is about.

Elsewhere, Drake is feeding into this excitement by wearing an Iron Man suit for an alleged music video shoot in Toronto. No one knows what's in store, but whatever it is, it will definitely perform very well commercially. After all, the OVO mogul is hitting milestones previously untapped on Spotify and other platforms, and he's not done.
