Young Stoner Life was supposed to drop "Slime Language 3" today, but Ian Connor may have delayed some things for Young Thug and company.

Young Thug is celebrating the new generation of his collective by teasing YSL's Slime Language 3 compilation, including newer names on Young Stoner Life such as diamond*, Tezzus, 1300SAINT, and more. However, fans expressed disappointment today (Friday, August 28) after the album didn't drop as expected, and Thug said they still had to do a few more changes. Now, according to XXL, we may have a reason for the delay, and it might connect to fashion creative Ian Connor, who's been working with YSL a lot over the years.

A lot of social media is buzzing right now with the inference that YSL was at the hospital for the birth of Connor's child, as Thugger posted a video at the hospital with Ian. Also, 1300SAINT put out a tweet that said, "Bra Baby gotta come out first," leading fans to assume he was talking about this upcoming compilation.

At press time, Ian Connor himself has not responded to this assumption, nor have the other members of YSL. A lot of fans have reacted by bringing up misconduct allegations against Ian Connor or lamenting the lack of an artist like Gunna on Slime Language 3. So there's a lot of negativity around this right now, but these individuals are probably too busy with much happier and more fruitful news to pay too much attention.

Hopefully Slime Language 3 is still a solid project despite the delay and fans' doubts so far. New singles like "Consummate" and "Hood Of Atlanta Freestyle*" are building hype for fans.

Young Thug Album's Release Date

Sadly, Thugger did not confirm a release date when he spoke on Slime Language 3's delay. As such, fans will have to patiently wait for a formal release date update or for the full-length to appear as a surprise on digital streaming platforms.

As for other updates on Young Thug's YSL, the collective is still going through some changes, issues, and feuds. Former affiliate Nine Vicious has been pretty open about his feud with Young Stoner Life as of late, extending to other artists like Ken Carson.

Maybe Slime Language 3 will comment on some of this. But in any case, we'll have to see if Ian Connor confirms this fan interpretation, and if the album lives up to fans' expectations.
