New retailer photos confirm the Air Jordan 5 "Halloween" for October, featuring glow-in- the-dark accents and a stealthy black build.

New retailer photos are giving fans their clearest look yet at the Air Jordan 5 "Halloween." These shoes are set to release on October 17th for $220 in full family sizing.

Black suede covers the toe, side panels, and collar, keeping most of the shoe dark and stealthy. That same black carries through the laces, mesh panels, tongue, and midsole. Also red breaks things up across the signature shark tooth midsole detailing, giving the pair its seasonal punch.

Glow-in-the-dark green shows up in several spots throughout the build. It hits the Jumpman logos on the tongue, the embroidered "23" near the heel, and the Nike Air branding on back. Even the translucent outsole glows, tying every detail back to the shoe's Halloween theme.

Early mockups from earlier this year pointed toward a black and orange combo before red ended up replacing orange in the final build. Further, the style code is listed as HQ7978-001. Full family sizing means adults, grade school, little kids, and toddlers will all have access at launch, spreading demand across a wider range of buyers than some recent releases have seen.

It'll be available through Nike SNKRS, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Hibbett, and DSG. With a firm date and price now locked in, this pair will move fast once October actually arrives.

Seasonal, holiday-themed Air Jordans aren't new for Jordan Brand. Past releases have leaned into similar concepts, giving certain colorways a clear tie to a time of year.

"Halloween" fits neatly into that same pattern, built entirely around mood rather than any deeper connection to Michael Jordan's career. It's a colorway meant to match the season instead of retelling a piece of Jordan history.

This drop also lands during one of the busiest stretches yet for the Air Jordan 5. Between "Wolf Grey," Undefeated, and now "Halloween," the model has become one of Jordan Brand's most active silhouettes throughout 2026.

With glow-in-the-dark details and a stealthy black base, "Halloween" gives collectors something a little different heading into the fall lineup. It's a general release too, so buyers won't need to worry about limited quantities driving up demand beyond what a normal launch usually brings.
