There has been a lot of speculation about beef between Kanye West and Mike Dean over the past few years, which both have denied.

Kanye West has put out a lot of new solo music and collaborations this year, of which die-hard fans will always want more. Concerning team-ups, though, there are many folks Ye fans wish would make up with their fave following confirmed or, in this case, speculated beefs. Mike Dean has been on that list for a while, and Kanye just gave another indication that he wants to work together again.

As caught by Bars on Instagram, he came across a tweet posted yesterday (Saturday, August 22) by user @Yeezus49. The user was quote-tweeting an old 2018 message from Ye: "creatives need each other." In response, the user posted a picture of Kanye and Dean at the iconic 2016 The Life Of Pablo show in Madison Square Garden and wrote, "That's why we need Ye and Mike Dean back together, the perfect duo" (translated from Portuguese).

Ye reposted this message, so maybe there is a new collaboration between them on the way or they have been working together. Alternatively, this could be a message for Mike, and we'll only find out if they explicitly confirm anything.

Mike Dean Denies Kanye West Beef

Mike Dean already denied having beef with Kanye West back in October of last year. "We’re cool," he told Rolling Stone. "We’re just not working. There’s no intense beef or anything. If we saw each other, we’d probably hug and say hello and then keep moving. Yeah, there’ll be a time when we probably get back together. Who knows when? That’s a heavy question."

For those unaware, Mike Dean's Kanye West beef rumors stem from his criticisms of Ye's bigoted statements and controversies surrounding antisemitism, Nazism, George Floyd, and more around 2022. However, those social media messages weren't super explicit either. Still, it seems like distance is the main factor here, not any direct confrontation or conflict.

Whether or not this duo returns to the studio together is a mystery. But with BULLY and other Ye releases and moves this year, it's not out of the question. Maybe he will have to be more proactive in righting his wrongs if he wants Mike Dean's comeback.
