The Game was recently at an event celebrating his new album The Documentary 3, and he had a lot to get off his chest. For starters, he talked about rampant beef speculation regarding his dynamics with Kendrick Lamar and TDE, which relates to his Drake friendship. But the Compton rapper also reflected on his bond with Nipsey Hussle, claiming he has difficulty getting in contact with the late MC's brother Blacc Sam for unclear reasons.
"I caught fades with my own homies to take Nip on tour," he remarked, as caught by CY Chels on Twitter. "But I can't seem to get in touch with Blacc Sam to holler at him. I don't understand it."
Game and Hussle performed together on the former's "LAX" tour back in 2009. They also share various collaborations over the years, such as "They Roll," "Same Ho*s" with Ty Dolla $ign, "Welcome Home," and "F**k A B***h" with Elijah Black and Joe Moses.
While most folks are focused on the K.Dot narrative, this Nip mention also raised eyebrows. However, it's unclear how this comes together.
The Game & Nipsey Hussle Collab
One possible reason for this supposed animosity Game is alleging is an old collab between Nipsey Hussle and The Game. "World Tours" was supposed to be on the latter's Drillmatic album from 2022, but Blacc Sam got it taken down because it wasn't fully approved. Wack 100 (Game's manager) blasted Sam for this, positing it may have to do with Sam's issues with Wack's criticisms of Nipsey in the past.
As such, maybe Hussle's brother doesn't want to talk to Game for this reason. But again, if "World Tours" is really the root, then it seems like this is more of an issue between Sam and Wack than anything else.
The Game and Nipsey Hussle's bond is clear through their music, but it seems like other conflicts and loyalties may have tainted this legacy. Still, this is all according to the former's claims, and we'll see if Blacc Sam responds at any point. Maybe they can hash out any alleged differences and move forward in a more amicable, respectful place.
