Justin Bieber just gave fans their first real look at his next SKYLRK release, the Sensory Runner. He shared the shoe through his personal Instagram, showing it on foot in a black and white colorway. There's no release date or price yet, but they're confirmed coming soon.
The design leans into a bold, sculpted look. A white base runs underneath dark, curved overlays that wrap around the upper in web-like shapes. There aren't many traditional panels breaking things up. Most of the shoe flows together into one continuous form.
The sole stands out just as much. Instead of a flat midsole, the Sensory Runner sits on rounded, pod-like sections that run from heel to toe. It gives the shoe a bulky, almost bouncy stance on foot. Paired with slouchy socks and baggy pants in the photos, the whole fit leans into an oversized, exaggerated silhouette.
Bieber has said the shoe went through four years of adjustments before reaching this version. That's a long runway for a single sneaker, especially in an industry built around fast urnarounds.
SKYLRK hasn't released official images yet, so these on foot shots from Bieber are the clearest look so far.
SKYLRK Sensory Runner
SKYLRK launched in 2025 and started with slides, slippers, and even 3D printed soccer shoes. The Sensory Runner marks another step toward a full sneaker lineup. It follows the Matterdaddies, Bieber's first lace-up SKYLRK model, which dropped back in June.
The brand has mostly grown through Bieber wearing prototypes in public rather than traditional marketing. He's been spotted testing early samples for over a year, often before SKYLRK says anything official.
The Sensory Runner's shape has already drawn comparisons to other boundary-pushing sneakers, from chunky New Balance builds to past Yeezy silhouettes. Whether people love it or hate it, it's clearly not playing it safe.
Bieber himself seems fully hands on with the process. It makes sense given he's spent 4 years fine tuning a single shoe. Overall all eyes are on when SKYLRK actually drops it.
