Yung Miami had accused Tyla of biting her for her song "Chanel," which has led to surprising remarks from both artists.

Yung Miami recently sat down for a conversation with Complex's Jordan Rose, where he asked about her controversy last year with Tyla and her song "Chanel." For those unaware, Miami had accused the singer of stealing her "Take Me To Chanel" snippet and using it as an idea for her own track.

Tyla recently denied Yung Miami's claims during a video with Quenlin Blackwell. She recalled being in the studio with the former City Girl and hearing many of her tracks, but not that "Take Me To Chanel" snippet. Also, the South African artist said her actual song was from another writer who sent it to her months after that meet-up. She also added that she understands the presumption and showed love to the femcee, singing her viral hit "Spend Dat."

Earlier this week, Complex Music's video showed Jordan Rose asking Yung Miami if she's been able to talk with Tyla about the situation. "We haven't had a chance," she replied. "I never spoke to her after that. We've never spoken at all. The situation was what the situation was, and that's just what it was. I moved on."

Rose brought up how Tyla messes with "Spend Dat," which led Miami to some more remarks. "Oh, I'm sure she does," she responded. "I'm not even saying in a shady way. She did a TikTok to 'Tea Time.' I mean, she's been very supportive."

Yung Miami Responds To Tyla

We will see if the two ever get the chance to talk about this, let alone whether fans will know about it. It seems like there's no real bad blood here, although both artists are looking to move on from the situation.

Elsewhere, Tyla has responded to other viral stories about her. Recently, she seemed to deny misinterpreted rumors that A$AP Rocky cheated on Rihanna with her, which stemmed from her wearing jewelry that was made specifically for him.

On the other hand, Yung Miami recently dropped a big life update, as she revealed she's been in a new relationship for a while now. Following years of association with Diddy, she is moving on and being more open about her life.

With that in mind, we wouldn't rule out a revisitation of this dynamic down the line. But amid a lot of other noise, it seems like the "Chanel" saga is over.
