Kevin Garnett has waived his no-trade clause and will be returning to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Nets and Boston Celtics agreed Thursday to a blockbuster trade that would send future Hall of Famers Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn.
The deal can't be finalized before July 10.
Trade talks heated up Thursday, but the main stumbling block late in the day was Garnett, who wanted additional time to consider whether to waive his no-trade clause.
After the Nets agreed to fully guarantee the $12 million owed him for the 2014-2015 season, Garnett gave the green light for the trade to occur.
