Desiigner continues to tease his long-awaited debut album.
While his buzz started in early 2016 when "Panda" began to get airplay, his stock multiplied by about 100 after he was signed to G.O.O.D. Music and the track was sampled on Kanye's The Life Of Pablo album. The rapper was compared often to Future, due to their similar voices when using auto-tune. While a mixtape was released to mixed reviews, Desiigner is claiming that he has evolved a lot since New English was released. The G.O.O.D. Music team and producer Mike Dean have taken their time with Desiigner, developing him and surprisingly waiting this long to release his album.
Life Of Desiigner has been in the works for over a year, with the project being announced since the Brooklyn rapper's mixtape dropped. While it has reportedly been mastered since February according to Mike Dean, the project has still not seen the light of day. Desiigner continues to hype up his debut album though, tweeting that Travis Scott has listened to it and is incredibly fond of it. "â¤ï¸ðð¾ð¥ð¥ð @trvisXX Loves The Project #LOD," wrote Desiigner earlier today.
With Kanye announcing a slew of G.O.O.D. projects being released in June, Life Of Desiigner was notably left out as Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, Ye himself and a Kid Cudi collab were all announced. On top of that, Yeezy is working on Nas' next album, also set for a June drop. Maybe next in line for a random Twitter announcement is Desiigner, who has been absent from the game for a minute.
