"Reminder" has become the second song off The Weeknd's latest album, November's Starboy, to receive a platinum certification. The album's titular single is already 5x platinum.
"Reminder" was released as a single in May, along with "Rockin." The previous singles, "Starboy," "I Feel It Coming," and "Party Monster," were all released last year. Now at No. 99, "Reminder" is currently on its way out of the Hot 100, having peaked weeks earlier at No. 31. It's odd that "I Feel It Coming" has not gone platinum yet, as it reached as high as No. 4 on the Hot 100. In any case, the Daft Punk-featuring song should receive a platinum plaque in the near future.
Released in February, the "Reminder" music video features cameos from Drake, Travis Scott, and more. The song is produced by Mano, Doc McKinney, and Cirkut.
