While the greatest in their crafts are regularly compared, different people offer different skill sets and thus, comparing artists is regularly never going to be as easy as it appears. Ever since Cardi B's quick ascension to the top of the music industry, she has been compared to Nicki Minaj on a continual basis. Apart than the two both being female rappers, their music is not entirely similar and the comparisons likely stem from them being powerful women in hip-hop. Namedropping a slew of influential women in the world of rap, The Game congratulated Cardi on the release of her first album while supporting her journey as a female in a male-centric musical genre.

Reposting a photo of Cardi's Invasion Of Privacy album cover on Instagram, Game writes that he respects her hustle, watching her rise from the hotel lobby to the penthouse in a hip-hop analogy. "1st albums set the tone for the rest of your career... in a game with a million artists, standing out is hard work," said the Californian, praising her effort. When a fan slid in the comments section asking Game his opinion on if Cardi had officially dethroned Nicki Minaj, the "Hate It Or Love It" rapper insisted that they each have a spot at the top. "Nicki in her own lane & just broke a record passing Aretha Franklin on the hot 100 billboard list... & Cardi just went from 0-100 on everybody in less than a year," said Game.

Naming everyone from Roxanne Shante, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and more, The Game understands that diversity in hip-hop begins with women's involvement in the craft. If there is enough room for dozens of men at the top of the game, why can't Nicki and Cardi share the spotlight?
