His attorney says Tekashi doesn’t even own a gun.

A couple weeks ago, feds raided the house of Tekashi 6ix9ine and apparently discovered a gun at the scene. It's unclear still what prompted the search, or who the gun belonged to, but Tekashi apparently aint worried that these charges will haunt him. His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that a gun charge would be very difficult to prove because the NYC rapper doesn't even own a firearm.

In addition to not even owning the gun, Tekashi says he moved out of that home weeks before the raid went down, helping his case even more with trying to link items that belonged to him.

TMZ adds that there's been a ton of people in and out of the house recently, so the gun could belong to anyone. So if you were hoping that Tekashi might be in trouble with the law over this, that doesn’t look to be the case.

This report comes just hours after Tekashi was all in the headlines Wednesday after he had some words for Florida sensation Kodak Black. After Kodak said he was a better artist than Tekashi, the NYC rapper responded by telling Kodak to “suck his d*ck,” which you can see for yourself here.

We’ll continue to keep you posted more on this story as it surfaces. In the meantime, check out a preview of his upcoming single “Stoopid,” dropping tomorrow!
