Original Content New Orleans has always been a hub for music, first with Jazz and then more recently with hip hop. NOLA hip hop culture has been around since the '80s and the bounce movement, putting the city on the map for quality hip hop. But the damage of the storm proved to be much stronger than anyone expected. Artists and record companies like Cash Money and No Limit had no choice but to relocate to other states and lay low.
