Mac Miller has been nominated for his first ever Grammy Award, but unfortunately, he is not with us anymore to attend the award show for the chance to take home a shiny trophy. For that reason, his parents will be attending the show to accept the award on behalf of their son if he does win, TMZ reports.
Mac has been nominated for Rap Album of the Year for his tape Swimming and is going up against Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy, Nipsey Hussle's Victory Lap, Pusha T's Daytona and Travis Scott's Astroworld.
The 61st annual Grammy Awards takes place Sunday, February 10th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As previously announced, 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys will be hosting the event.

The Mac Miller Circle Fund recently revealed that they are reaching they're $1 million dollar mark. The fund, carried by Mac's mother, helps to provide opportunities and programs to underserving youth in Pittsburgh by "helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building."
