Jhene Aiko is gearing up to release her debut album, Souled Out, but before that happens the singer is giving fans a taste of what's in store with her EP Sail Out. The rising singer says Sail Out will bridge the gab to Souled Out while explaining the two projects and detailing her EP to Rap-Up.
Jhene Aiko revealed that she recorded over 20 new songs for her album, and so to get all those songs out, some of them will be released on her EP, Sail Out. The singer revealed the features tapped for Sail Out."Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Big Sean and there are a few tracks I might get some more people on," Jhene said. "Kendrick Lamar is on "Stay Ready" and it reminds you of a Janet Jackson, real sexy type of song. Wiz Khalifa is on "Hit It Again" which is a double entendre for drugs or sex, so it's like a fun, sexy type of song too."
Jhene continued to describe the project, "A lot of the songs on the EP are fun, and me dealing with lighter topics. Souled Out is me digging deeper into different things about life."
