Cardi's album sales have picked up in pace as she is set to sell over 225K copies.

Love her or hate her, it's hard to deny the impact that Cardi B has had on the world in such a short time. Making headlines on a daily basis, opinions of the rapper has been incredibly mixed, with the public taking either extreme side with her. Her debut album Invasion Of Privacy was always expected to debut at the top spot of the Billboard charts but initial projections may not have taken her reach into effect.

The first reports of the Bronx rapper's sales projections saw her moving between 170,000 to 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week with 45,000 to 55,000 pure sales among them. After a promotional tour on the interview circuit, the confirmation of her pregnancy and a co-hosting gig with Jimmy Fallon, Invasion Of Privacy is selling much better than original reports suggested as she is now set to move up to 225K equivalent copies of the album, according to Hits Daily Double. Cardi is almost guaranteed to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200, granted Drake doesn't drop something out the blue.

With Nicki Minaj back in the picture, comparisons between her and Cardi are bound to become even more prominent, especially with Nicki's upcoming two singles.
