"Avengers: Infinity War" Cast

AMC Theatres spills the beans on the upcoming superhero blockbuster.

The past 10 years have been leading up to this moment. This April, we get to witness Avengers: Infinity War. With the largest leading cast the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever had to deal with, it was suspected that they'd need much more time to tell the first part of this narrative. AMC Theatres revealed the run time for Infinity War: 2 hours and 36 minutes.

Previously, Captain America: Civil War held the title for the longest Marvel film; again, because of its large cast. Civil War was just 10 minutes shorter than the upcoming installment. While Disney or Marvel Studios haven't confirmed this run time, it falls in line with comments co-director Joe Russo made. "The current cut is over two and a half [hours]. Most of it’s a movie you could show, but there’s still a lot of work left to be done, I still have a couple of scenes that we haven’t finished from Avengers 3 that I’m shooting in the next few months with my brother [Anthony], and it’s certainly gonna be a film that lives in the two and a half hour, two and a half hour-plus range."

The movie is fast-approaching, and will be hitting screens April 27th. As interesting as it is to hear the run time, it won't matter for many of us, as we'll be sitting through the credits in hopes of catching a glimpse of the post-credits scenes.
