Macklemore gettin' icy.

Macklemore's had a great year so for with the release of Gemini. The rapper is now celebrating its release with a new pair of grillz.

Revered celebrity jeweler, Johnny Dang, hit up Instagram to post a series of photos of Macklemore at his jewelry store. In the photos,  Macklemore seems pensive while he looks down at Dang's grill options. In the subsequent photos, Dang and Macklemore are posing while the latter has the grill mould in his mouth. The caption on the photos read, "New #grillz coming zzzzzzzz @macklemore #Doamondboyz." It'll be interesting to see how they come out.

Johnny Dang's responsible for the majority of iced out oral wear for rappers so it comes as no surprise that Macklemore reached out to him. In his most notable recent work, he's done the shiny grillz that Migos' Offset and Quavo have been flexing for the past several weeks in photos. Dang's also the one who helped influence Nelly and Paul Wall's popular song "Grillz," and has previously done work for the likes of P. Diddy, Kanye West, Paris Hilton and many more.

Aside from the new pair of grillz he's copping, his latest album Gemini has been doing fairly well. It was the first solo endeavor Macklemore's embarked on since 2009. Upon it's release, the project sold 51K units in total, launching the project to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Aside from that, he's already kicked off his tour in support of the album. The tour kicked off on October 6th in Portland and wraps up in Boston on November 14th. It's definitely looking like it'll be a dope tour for anyone who's been a fan of Macklemore. He's known for having a solid live performance so with all the new material he's pumped out, he'll definitely blending some of the oldies with the new.
