His success has also helped play a part in hip hop's prominence on Billboard charts and pop culture as a whole. His unique approach to his art put him on another level compared to his peers. With that being said, it should come as no surprise that Forbes Under 30 Summit announced that they've tapped him as their keynote speaker for their fourth annual event.

His keynote will include a conversation between himeself and Forbes Senior Editor Media and Entertainment Zack O’Malley Greenburg.

In a statement to Billboard, Greenburg said, "Kendrick Lamar is the voice of the under-30 generation, and we can’t wait to hear more from him," he continues, “Not only does he write and record groundbreaking songs, but he also embodies the same sort of spirit, drive and thoughtful passion of his peers across science, tech, the arts and beyond. Forbes is honored to host him in Boston"
