21 got the hops and the hoops.

With the NBA season over, basketball fans must turn to other sources of hoops entertainment. Of course, the WNBA season is in full swing, But for many, no better entertainment can be found than celebrities showing off their surprising basketball skills. Whether that's because they are surprisingly good or surprisingly bad, both are valid.

There has been something of a renaissance of this genre in recent weeks. Pete Davidson got a surprise hype video after scrimmaging with UNLV. Meanwhile, Key Glock literally got Doe Boy to sprain his ankle when he crossed him over on The Crew League. Now another rapper is showcasing their ball skills.

21 Savage Flexes Impressive Jump Shot

Atlanta rapper 21 Savage is the latest music figure to showcase his hoops. In a video reposted by No Jumper, 21 Savage showed off that he did in fact, have a jump. In the clip, 21 sinks two near-arc threes in a row. Of course note, 21 shoots with a kind of adorable bunny hop jumper. Despite no defense being played, the back-to-back shots are still pretty impressive. Lethal Shooter, who 21 was playing with, then comes close to the camera to hype up the rapper.

"You see what it is. Laying around a lotta y'all. Laying on the couch. A lotta y'all on the phone, we in the gym man," Lethal says before turning and shooting a jumper on his own. "I see what it is, man. We in the gym. With my man 21. 5 years ago, he was the first rapper to hit me up." Elsewhere in basketball and rap crossovers, Cardi B received an invitation to LSU after shouting out the women's national champions in her verse of Latto's "Put It On Da Floor Again". However, the song has caused LSU freshman Flau'jae Johnson to call out Latto for not putting her in the video. Follow all the latest sports and music news here at HotNewHipHop.
